Telling Time

It's great fun to watch a 3-year-old learn how to tell time. We have a digital clock and Jason is obsessed with it, probably because I tell him at 5:15: "Jason, No! You can't play computer games until 7:00!"

Eleven minutes later he says, "Look, Dad! It's 56:00!"

"No, Jason," I correct him, "it can't be 56:00."

He stares at the clock, scratches his head, watches the LED display switch from one minute to the next, and pronounces excitedly: "you're right, Dad! It's 94:67!"
