Roses

Another good day.

The students seem to really like our math classes. Why? Because there is no pressure. Only mathematics, and some other stuff. Today we had Roses.

"Mr. Mick" they asked, "who will you send roses to, on 'Rose Day'?

"NOBODY!" I responded. "I have my wife. I love her, and she loves me. One time I gave her roses, and she threw them in the fridge! So now I will send her no roses."

"Why are you against Valentine's day?" Poo asked me.

"Because it is painful. Next Thursday, the kids will all come to math class, and all the beautiful, sexy girls (or boys) will have many roses. But the ugly girl, she will have only one rose."

"She is lucky," said Poo.

"Why?" I demanded.

"Because she has one rose," said Poo, "but I will have NO ROSES!"
