I signed up to go back to my old school for two more years.
I have no idea what I will be teaching, but they were very nice to offer me a new contract. They don't need a new mathematics teacher, so perhaps I will be teaching Mathematics, but maybe Science, or History, or PE, or Drama, who knows?
The most important factor was this: the students there are good students and they are very nice. They seem to like me. As a teacher, you can't ask for anything more. I thought about trying to find a job at a new school, but I couldn't imagine better students.
Besides, I was lazy.
