Palin wants to ban books

You gotta love the Republicans. They have accomplished what I thought was impossible: they have found someone more objectionable than George W. Bush!

Now we read that Governor Sarah Palin wants to ban books. When she was mayor of the small town of Wasilla, she forced out the long-standing and sensible librarian because of a disagreement. Gov. Palin wanted to ban books that she found "morally objectionable." The librarian, as any decent librarian would, refused.

What is "morally objectionable?" I find the Bible "morally objectionable", especially because of the violence in the Old Testament. Look at all the genocide and infanticide, that's morally objectionable! Still, the Bible is a good read, and it should not be banned.

I think of Krystallnacht--when the Nazi mobs, after murdering and looting, formed large piles of books by Jewish authors, and set them alight. They even went one step further, and condemned modern physics as "Jewish Science"--surely one of the greatest examples of idiocy in the 20th Century.

I want to know: which books does the Governor find "morally objectionable"? Because I want to read them!
