Unemployed

I'm not quite unemployed yet (summer school is fantastic), but I'm getting close.

I haven't been unemployed since I was 14 or 15.

I grew up in America, where I was brainwashed into thinking that WORKING 50 weeks per year is normal. I am psychologically unprepared for not working. People ask me, "what are you gonna do?" and I give them the stock answer, "Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"

Doing nothing is harder than it sounds. Really: I want to spend some more time with my kids (which I am doing already), learn Thai (which I am doing already), read books and do a little traveling: the subcontinent again.

I want to go to Nepal, and spend some time in the Himalayas. Also, I want to go to Kerala, and spend some time in the backwaters. So that's it: to the top of the subcontinent and the bottom!
