Visible from the Moon??

Beijing is gray. The air pollution is terrible and I am wheezing a lot.

Blogspot is blocked in China. How stupid is that? I'm sitting in an internet cafe, known here as a Cyber Bar, but more like a Cyber Warehouse Dungeon, and my eyes are burning. The Cyber Bars are always underground, with no ventilation. Not that ventilation would help in Beijing. I'm surrounded by 15-year-olds and they're all smoking cigarettes and compulsively playing computer games. That's not a problem, but let's protect them from the evil Blogspot!

Otherwise, having a great time. Today we tramped along the Great Wall. Anybody who knows anything knows that the Great Wall is NOT visible from the moon. In places it is only three meters high! I was laughing with M-Rock: what kind of army could this wall stop?

He laughed, too: visible from the moon, right!

Then a South African tourist turned around and said, "you mean it's NOT visible from the moon? No wonder I couldn't find it on Google Earth!"
