Pizza Party!

The Year 10 Extendeds want another math test. I love them; really, I do. I told them, "we can have another test but it cannot be graded." Then they wanted me to teach them partial fractions and calculus. The Year 9 Cores, on the other hand, wanted a party. I'd rather have a test, of course, but I wasn't going to win this one. So, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Today is the long awaited Year 9 pizza party. It is all organized by Lily, who collected 4000 Baht from the class. This is how a student at our school defines happiness:

nehoo... altogether we got 4000. During science fair I called Pizza company
and ordered:
x5 double cheese pizzas (large)
x4 double pepperoni pizzas (large)
x4 20 pcs BBQ chicken
and since we ordered 9 pizzas, we get 9 pints of Dairy Queen ice cream for free!
I will be picking up the orders up with Yuree at 11:20 tomoz.
And Tina and I will bring up my cupcakes and
cookies to your classroom before registration approx. 7 am.
all of this together, (9 pizzas and 80 chicken) costs 3956

She got her calculations exactly right. That's some pretty good mathematics-- maybe we should have pizza parties more often!
