Today the teachers received an email from Tim in Year 11:
On behalf of 11D, we would like to thank you for these great years where you have taught us. We have been cooking snacks during our Food Tech lesson and would like to share them with you.I thought Tim was being facetious but I decided to mosey on down to the Secondary Office anyway. I was right. What was on offer? Blue Chicken! It was dyed with the chemical crud extracted from artificial pheasant trappings and you couldn't feed it to a soi dog. Just to show us how much they love us, 11D put special effort into a presentation worthy of the finest French restaurant (see photo).
Every teacher who ate some chicken complained of the same thing: it's undercooked, and biting into the bloody part was unpleasant. I wonder: how many teachers will call in sick tomorrow?
Fortunately, Tim is an excellent mathematics student, and he has a future outside of Food Tech. I can't see him flipping burgers at McDonald's, but if he was, I'd go to Burger King.
