Weekend in Tokyo

I spent the weekend in Tokyo; it was good fun.

Tokyo is amazing for all the little nooks and crannies and things that make you say, "huh?" It's the largest metropolitan area in the world, but it's amazing how many empty spaces there are--like a sculpture park with no people, full of sculptures of naked people in the pseudo-French-Italian style.

Still, I'm homesick. Tomorrow is Thun's birthday, and really I should be there. My mother sent him a present, and he thought it came from me.

"No, it's from your grandmother, Khun Ya Sally!" said Poo.

"No, it's from Dad," said Thun.

"No, it's from Khun Ya Salleeeeee!" insisted Poo.

"NO! IT'S FROM DAD!" insisted Thun.

That makes me feel sad.
