My Headache

My phone problem is solved, sort of. A friend heard that I was shopping for a new phone so he decided to give me one of his phones. It's super-fancy with wireless, Bluetooth, internet, GPS, QWERTY keyboard, Opera browser, etc. Blogging is great, right?

Wrong. Now I have to figure out how to use all that stuff. It's not easy. Thun and I spent an hour trying to figure out how to use the wireless (we failed) and it took Poo and me four hours to get the right SIM card. I didn't know whether to accept it, but, of course, the price was right.

"Thanks for lending me your phone," I told my friend.

"No, I'm giving you the phone," he insisted.

"But why?" After all, it's a $400 phone.

"Because I don't like it. I never use it. It's too complicated. The user manual is 70 pages, and it doesn't come with the phone. You have to download it."

"OK, well, I will read it."

"There's only one condition," he continued.

"What?"

"Don't ask me any questions. Don't call me in the middle of the night and ask 'how do you use the wireless'."

"Sure, no problem," I said, "and thanks again."

"No, thank you," he said, "it used to by my headache, but now it's your headache."
