I have been living happily without a cell phone for 4 years. Most people can't believe it, and one friend chastises me for being "selfish". But now that I am enjoying Twitter and going techie, I think I need a new 4th screen.
The 1st screen was the movie screen. The 2nd screen was the TV. The 3rd screen was the computer monitor. Now we are entering the era of the 4th screen: the video-phone.
On facebook, I asked my friends for suggestions for a new phone. I was hoping for some make and model numbers, but instead I got a couple of smart-ass responses, but they're funny. Christian D suggested "one with the TI-84 function!" I like the idea and I will take it as a challenge. When I buy my new phone, and all the young people are loading episodes of Family Guy onto their phones, I will figure out how to load the Virtual TI-84 software!
Mr. Barry suggested: "two tin cans and a waxed string". I like that idea, too, especially since my eyesight is going and I probably need glasses. I remember when I was a kid and tried two cans and a string for a Science Fair project. I forgot to use waxed string.
No wonder it didn't work!

We didn't have "Science Fair" in NZ when I was growing up - this was just the sort of thing my Dad used to suggest to me and my brothers when we were getting under his feet. Now with a little imagination you could turn it into a personal project.
