Some people seem to want my opinions about the American "elections" in general and about Barack Obama in particular.
I don't know why. When it comes to being free and fair, I have more confidence in the Pakistani cricket team than I do in American elections. There should be election observers from India, South Africa, Singapore and New Zealand to watchdog the American elections.
My problem with Barack Obama is the same as my problem with all those made-for-TV politicians: they're all sleazy, scheming, dishonest, self-centered fakes. As my Dad used to say, "they're all crooks." I suppose that anybody is better than Bush, but Bush does have entertainment value. The world will be a better place once he's gone, but I will miss some of the Bushisms from "The Education Preesident", such as:
"You teach a child to read, and he or her will pass a literacy test."
I really did like Roseanne's rant against Oprah and Obama, though. Be sure to read the original, not the one she edited after she sobered up.
