Our school is technology crazy. Some students love it; others are going crazy.

Every Monday and Wednesday my Year 10s have a double lesson. On Thursdays my Year 11s have a double lesson. The idea is this: each double lesson, they will get ten minutes of peace: a break from me yelling at them, and I will blog.

I used to "teach" (i.e. yell at) students: blah blah COEFFICIENT blah blah GRADIENT blah blah COORDINATES blah blah VECTORS blah blah DERIVATIVE.

Now I "teach" (i.e. yell at) students: blah blah WIKI blah blah DOWNLOAD blah blah HYPERLINK blah blah PORTAL blah blah DATABASE.

I wonder if it all sounds the same to them. Regardless, I'm sure they will appreciate 10 minutes of peace.
